The high divorce rate happening among expats and Emiratis took place in discussions , after a research conducted by experts they found that there are more than three divorce cases per day ,marking UAE as the highest divorce rate in the region .
Do you think what's gone wrong? Why aren't couples here unable to sail through the ups and downs that come to life and every relationship?
I think there are major reasons behind this issue and by knowing these reasons you may save your marriage So you must identify the problem then think very well before taking any action or step :
Unfaithfulness: I think it's one of the major problems that leads to divorce in UAE . Researches show that 19% has been unfaithful to his partner while 6% of the women admitted infidelity.
Lack of communication: it ranks ahead of lack of love and it's as true destroyer of many marriages especially on Emiratis.and also may lead to Sexual incompatibility that Long commutes and work hours that come with a Dubai lifestyle not just lead to stress and obesity but also affects sex drive.
Jobless : A job in Dubai isn't just a job, but a mean of living so the loss of a job in Dubai could lead to one half of the couple having to leave the country and that would lead to a break-up. And also Financial negligence will happen.
Different cultures : Multiplicity of Religions and cultures especially in marriages mainly leads to breakups because there is no Harmony or understanding between couples.
Lack of support between each others : lack of participation and support between couples in their life especially when kids come into the picture , it leads to either getting totally involved in their respective duties not wanting to bother the other partner, or they feel very lonely and depressed. And it may lead to a wide Child rearing issues .
Unrealistic expectations : We can't expect our partner to be our partner, husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, best friend, mother, father, etc. This often leads to unrealistic expectations, which will lead to heartbreaks.
