Pakistani actress Veena Malik trends with anti-India tweet

Pakistani actress Veena Malik has drawn popular wrath after posting an anti-India tweet on her social networking page on Saturday.
"India sucks," wrote Veena on her account, @iVeenaMalik, at 8.48am on Saturday.
She started trending as soon as she posted it, and Twitter has been abuzz with hate messages.
While she was not available for comment, Veena finally posted another tweet clarifying why she had criticised India.
Titled "the reason I tweeted what I did...", her fresh tweet provided a link to a post on @UeberNews that read: "A 23-year-old German student was allegedly molested and robbed by some auto drivers in Lajpat Nagar

Veena of course is known for her penchant at generating controversy.
The starlet shot to fame by getting intimate on camera with struggling actor Ashmit Patel.
She then created a storm back home in Pakistan by posing nude for the cover of an Indian glossy magazine.
She managed to garner news space during the cricket spotfixing controversy when her ex-boyfriend Mohammad Asif was found guilty of fixing, stating that she knew of Asif's involvement in the crime and claiming that she had told him to avoid such things.
