Muslims protected Jews in WWII

ISLAMABAD: It is coming to light for the first time that Muslims helped protect Jews in the second World War. A British hosted Open Exhibition in London displays the photos of seventy Muslim stalwarts who, a Turkish media outlet claims, protected the Jews fleeing WWII Holocaust.

The Exhibition is drawing worldwide attention."The Righteous Muslim Exhibition" snapshots reveal Muslims-Jews relations remained mostly socially on positive lines.

Held by 'Yad Vashem' Israel's official memorial to Holocaust victims, the Exhibition gave prominent place to the 70 Muslims who protected Jews fleeing from Holocaust. The Expo will run at different sites till March 2014.
