B-town’s young newcomers are not only talented but are multi-talented. Recently, Student of the year star Alia Bhatt, just a film old, shot for Highway and gave a sound track titled Sooha Saha. Now, following the footsteps of Alia, Shraddha Kapoor is turning into a singer with Mohit Suri's forthcoming venture Ek Villain.
If a source is to be believed, then Shraddha will make her singing debut with Ek Villain’s Galiyan, "The song, called Galiyan, was recorded last week at a suburban studio. It's a duet with Ankit Tiwari, who rose to fame with the Aashiqui 2 hit number Sun Raha Hai Tu. The track has been composed by Ankit as well." Shraddha is a daughter of Shivangi Kolhapure, who is Lata Mangeshkar's niece and it’s quite expected that Shraddha will have a good sound quality.
The director, without turning down the authenticity of the same commented, "It's too early to comment. We will make an announcement soon." Meanwhile, she is taking lessons to prepare for the song. The project features Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, along with Shraddha. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the flick is made under Balaji Motion Pictures’ banner and is scheduled for June 27 release.
