Live Score World T20 Final: Sri Lanka win toss, India bat first

India captain MS Dhoni lost the toss and was invited to bat first by his Sri Lanka counterpart Lasith Maling in the ICC World T20 2014 final at the Sher-e Bangla National stadium in Mirpur.
Rain delayed the start of the match but it will now proceed without any reduction in overs.

India come into the final with a win-all record. More over, they have had thumping victories over Australia and South Africa in the last two matches.

The good news for India is that most of the batsmens - including Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, Ajinkya Rahane and Yuvraj Singh have been among the runs. But India's bowling has been their true strength.

Spinners R Ashwin and Amit Mishra have been in stellar form. The others too have chipped in with their bit.

Sri Lanka on the other hand will be playing their third World T20 final. They have had problems with the team management in this tournament.

Dinesh Chandimal had landed in Dhaka as skipper of their World T20 campaign. He was banned by the ICC for the last match of the group league against New Zealand. But on the eve of the semifinal against the West Indies, Chandimal opted out and left the leadership to Lasith Malinga.
Not just that. Sunday will be Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara's last T20 international match.
