It is not about lifelong vows and promises but the daily endurance of each other’s differences and a respect to go along with their behavior. In order to inculcate this ever sustaining respect and love for each other, each spouse has to acknowledge the other spouse as a human first and then to accept the individuality of their wife/husband. This acceptance of the entity and individuality is the key to a happy marriage.

He argues that the basic origin of both these genders is different. By this, he does not mean that these genders actually come from different planets but that their mindset has always been different. Relationship between a man and a woman is a form of love/hate relationship where while the spouses love and care for each other, they sometimes have enough of each other and need a little space for their human self.
This simply means that once in a while every human just needs to be human and not wife, husband, father, aunty, mother etc. this space/privacy is a basic right of every human and should duly be given and respected.
